    Abstract
Conjunctive cohesion is the only type of cohesion that connects the meaning of sentences and other textual units consistently. More about the actual nature of cohesion can be deduced if it is looked at within the framework of a text, rather than isolated sentences. The study of logical application of knowledge about discourse, discourse analysis, cohesion and coherence shall undoubtedly improve the quality of students' writing.
