In so doing the document highlights the shortcomings that presently exist in the legislation/regulatory measures governing the road transportation of hazardous waste in South Africa as well as the shortcomings that exist in the legislation/regulatory measures governing the road transportation of hazardous waste in the United States, Australia and Britain and which must therefore be avoided.
