Abstract
The study examines the availability and accessibility of health care services in rural areas
in relation to the right to health. The area that has been selected for the purpose of this
study is the Shongweni area in the Province of KwaZulu - Natal. The area is situated on
the border of Mpumalanga and Durban Region under the Outer - West City Council.
